At the Forge
Sable runs the trip hammer floor at Fort York’s forge, where tieflings are increasingly employed — valued, and somewhat typecast, for their heat tolerance. She is respected by her crew and blunt with everyone else until they have earned otherwise.
Walter
Walter Croft is sweet on her, which the forge crew and half the tavern find endlessly entertaining. Sable’s own view on the matter is her business.
Why She Matters to Anya
Sable is the forge community’s voice, and the forge community is Anya’s way into everything else. What the workers are worried about — and they are worried — will come out through her, if it comes out at all.
